Turkey Bowl VI

Get ready for an adrenaline-packed day of flag football action as we invite you to join us for the 2024 AFF Turkey Bowl Flag Football Tournament, taking place on November 15-16, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Mukkulan Kuplahalli, located at Torpinkatu 4, 15240 Lahti. The venue offers excellent facilities, including ample parking and nearby amenities for your convenience.

We're excited to announce several exciting changes and improvements for this year's tournament that promise to make it even more unforgettable than ever before.

STRUCTURED TOURNAMENT FORMAT

We will have both a Women's Division and a Men's Division, catering to players of all skill levels. In preparation for the 2028 Olympics, we will use a common European format—pool play on Saturday, playoff games on Sunday. Based on the recent popularity of the sport, we are willing to accommodate 16 teams in each division. However, we're flexible and will adjust the schedule accordingly based on the number of registered teams. If we reach a minimum of 8 teams, every team will have the opportunity to play a minimum of 5 games.

INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT

The 2025 AFF Turkey Bowl will be an international tournament, as we invite teams from the surrounding countries to compete & experience Finland’s largest Flag Football tournament!

REGISTRATION & DETAILS

Registration closes on September 1. Remember, we have a limit of 12 teams per division, so be sure to secure your spot early. The registration fee is 250 euros, payable via PayPal or bank transfer.

GAMEPLAY

Each team can have a maximum of 15 players, ensuring everyone gets a chance to hit the field. The tournament will be played in accordance with adjusted IFAF Flag Football Rules You can find general tournament rules explained briefly in the AFF Flag Rules.

OFFICIALS

Every team is required to supply one official during the tournament. Officials can be any players on a team’s roster and will only officiate when their team is not scheduled to play. Teams can see officiating schedules live on the Tournify app.

PRIZES

Exciting prizes and awards will be given to the top teams and standout players in each division. Stay tuned for more details on what you can win!

MEDIA

All games will be recorded and uploaded to YouTube following the tournament. You can subscribe to the AFF YouTube channel at AFF YouTube Channel. Additionally, we will be testing our live streaming capabilities throughout the day.

FOOD

There will be concessions available throughout the day. Plus, if your team's hungry for more than just victory, you can pre-order a delicious warm lunch of Chicken Pasta with Salad for €12.50 per person. On-site purchase will be available for €16 per person. Lunch will be available from 12:00 - 13:30.
